Greetings AKS inc affiliates!

We are pleased to announce that our events were successful however, one was unfortunately postponed as we had difficulty receiving (follow up) support from our community (businesses and congress). This Event on 9/21/21 was supposed to be a community thing and not one single volunteer showed up. We picked up a load of trash, spoke with many homeless and gave out gift cards and essentials. We have been doing this ongoing as well advocating for Central City Concern for the past months. Every day we do something for at least one homeless person or hard working essential worker in SE PDX..

Corporate support was denied as our request to dump trash from this event. Waste Management PDX said this is not going to happen... Not one truck load at all. After reaching out to over 150 people directly with no results we are still going. The name Kratom seems to detour a lot of corporations and smaller businesses as well. Which is sad but also why we chose to use that name. Judge not lest thy be judged...

During the past months we have had a great time advocating for Kroger/ Fred Meyer and Chobani as our only two sponsors. Remember to use your rewards card at Fred Meyer to send nonprofits like ours funds via those points that go towards your membership rewards.

We handed out Gift cards to essential workers (randomly) whom showed extra efforts and took selflessness and duty a tad farther than expected. We were able to connect with a lot of local businesses and introduce ourselves formally.

The event was a success even if the people who said they would sponsor us were unable to follow through at the time of collecting. We did not do the Bike ride this year but will plan again for next year and collect sponsorships before rather than wait months until the event. We all have a Post Covid19 life and all that happens in between, this was a great learning experience and introduction to what a nonprofit details.

We plan on conducting a paid study soon also that will be targeted at University and College ages. All will be considered for this study to take place early next year. February 2022. IF interested pls RSVP by sending email to info@americankratomservices.com

We will continue to serve and cleanup in our local location off of SE Powell. We will also continue to organize and recruit new volunteers while working alongside others whom are leading by example in Portland, OR as well.

Thank you all who have helped promote our cause. We are here for all communities nationwide. Anyone can help if they stay in touch and follow our Standard operating procedures.

I thank you all and I wish you all much Love and Light. Please pay it forward to a homeless person if you can by saying hi at least and acknowledging their presence as a human being. The small things do add up and each person is on their own path. I praise all who cherish their path and past in the realm of this mundane materialism. May all light bearers say strong and move forward with the great work. Knowing we are supporting each other even if we are not acquainted.
